Las Hilanderas dominate time, the duration of men, and sometimes take on the harsh and merciless aspect of necessity, that law that orders the continuous and universal change of beings and from which the infinite variety of forms comes from.

In this work, the knittings are unraveled throughout the exhibition as a clear example of time. Past and present come together to create the future. Thus, the iridescent weave of the world is cut against a background of suffering.
